Derek and Diane, I am enjoying your blog so much. I came to it late, and tried to start at the beginning, which I couldn’t seem to do on my phone. Now that I have access to a PC, I thought I would whip through the blog, experienced Netflix binger that I am. But I am appreciating every well-written word and examining every map and photo. It’s taking me a loooong time. I keep running to the kitchen for food. It’s not possible to read about your culinary adventures on an empty stomach. I am done with day 12, mourning the 6 million dead seals in the fjord. I never knew the difference between a sound and a fjord. Fascinating stuff, as was the day 6 account of the long long anal filamented beetle.
