I’ve loved all your comparisons with Hawaii (including the differences in NZ between the pronunciation of Maori words and Hawaiian, despite the common language root) and wonder about the difference in waves. Snorkeling off all the islands, the waves were strong enough to make one seasick. I wonder how GBR compared. I imagine time of year matters in both places… I’m glad to know Meclizine works, but does one really have to abstain from wine, etc…
